For those of you who don't know me, I have had a passion for cooking since I was a child. From
my grandfather having been involved in the hospitality industry to my parents taking me to
some of the best restaurants in Toronto, I have always enjoyed trying new foods and expanding
my palette.
From working in restaurant kitchens as a line cook to selling meat packages, the food industry
has been my focus for the past 8+ years.
My BBQ background began in 2018 when my cousins and I purchased a basic electric smoker
and I immediately fell in love with cooking barbecue. Fast forward to today, after running
weekly pickups from my parents’ house for 7 months, I made the jump to expand operations of
Benny’s Barbecue by building an amazing team of individuals and finding a suitable space for us
to serve our customers better. We are now able to focus on being open more, providing a
larger menu, being open more frequently and overall, being more convenient for our customers
with expanded hours.
The most important thing that you should know is that we strive to use the highest quality
ingredients when we cook – we never cook with any low-quality meats.
